Seminole County School System will host a School Based Health Center information meeting on Thurday May 16, 2024. This meeting will be held in the Elementary School Cafeteria at 6:00 PM. All parents and community members are invited to attend.
Hugh Mills Stadium in Albany was put on temporary lockdown this morning during the Region Track meet as a precaution due to events taking place nearby. Everything is now back to normal, and the competition has resumed. All Seminole County students were with their coaches and the Athletic Director during this situation and all of them are accounted for and safe.

Georgia law now requires each school district to prepare and practice intruder drills yearly in the event of an incident. Seminole County Schools will conduct these drills at both schools tomorrow, September 12, 2023, in conjunction with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Department. The safety and welfare of our students, teachers, and staff are high priorities in the Seminole County School District.
