Don't Forget...The Back to School Scramble will be Saturday, July 22, 2023 from 10:00-1:00 in the SCES Gymnasium and Football Concession Area. We encourage you to come join in on the fun! During this time, you will have a chance to get a background check to volunteer during the 2023-2024 school year; sign up for after school programs, sporting events with the recreational department, as well as Boy Scouts. Family Connections will provide your child with a bookbag. You will also want to checkout our other vendors for prizes and goodies! Then you can make your way to the football concession area where Kona Ice, Food from the Heart, and C & S Inflatables, and SCES Concessions will be set up. A community donor has provided funds for the inflatables. Your SCES Administrative Team looks forward to sharing this experience with you. In the past, you and your students have gotten school supplies at the scramble. This year, SCES is providing all school supplies for your students, which will be provided to your child's teacher.

Sign language camp is busting at the seams and these kiddos are rocking it! We’ve learned lots of food signs as well as colors and numbers to 20. A game of Simon Says confirmed how well these kiddos have learned signs and a ‘no talking’ coloring assignment (using only signs) was super exciting!

Seminole County Elementary School was fortunate to take a team to Base Camp and Leadership Summit hosted by the Georgia Leadership Institute for School Improvement. The team discovered their WHY! They built trust and accountability, while finding a problem practice through protocols and cause analysis. Throughout the week, the team was able to create a Theory of Action and steps to take home and implement! The team is ready for the 2023-2024 school year!
