Mrs. Lawhorn's class enjoyed a fine dining experience today! To wrap up their social skills unit on promoting polite behaviors in society, the class celebrated with an exceptional meal. The class dressed up in their best clothing. The tables were set with table clothes, china, silverware and cloth napkins. The students invited some of their favorite people to join them for this wonderful experience! Mrs. Edwards' class would like to give a "Shout Out" to Mrs. Godwin for planning an interactive extension activity to wrap up the first grade’s unit study on measurement. They practiced using non standard units to measure objects, as well as comparing the size of objects. They also practiced setting analog clocks to the hour and half hour.
